Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr
Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling :aww:
I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.

Computer problems again!

Last update about my poor lil' computer: There has been no fix :(....Thinking its the motherboard. I can't do anything with it :(. Am currently using my dads MAC which has no programs I need on it boooo plus I dont like using it >.>...No hope for the poor old PC I've had now for 6-7 years now lol, it has definitely reached its last 'life' after revived it twice in its 'life time' heh :P~ RIP my poor computer, I will replace you eventually.....sometime....whenever that will be >.>.... Oh and my dA subby runsout soon....oh well, can hardly get here anymore anyway so no difference made there :(~


Update again:So I have changed the fan, its working nicely and not turning off anymore so that mean the turning off was due to that. However now that I have, my montior is not working and is going onto 'Power saving mode' because there is no signal. So either that means the power supply to montior has died, or it means even worse that either my video card or motherboard has been fried in the process of it over heating so much!! :cry:~
I can't afford a new computer at this time!...I'm still soo glad that I backed up my stuff before hand!

Update: Riiight last night I found it WAS a heating problem as after turning it on for about half and hour the fan was BOILING! Literally was as kettle water after boiling!..Not good at all!...So hoping to get the new fan in tomorrow or weekend and all will be fixed yay! :D~

Hmm, I am having computer troubles  at the moment(again >.>), meaning I can't upload anything for a hopefully no more than a couple of days or so.
I am so happy that the thing actually turns on still so I've made back-ups of everything! Phew! ^^;~
The problem  is after about 20minutes it completely turns off without warning, as if I pulled the plug! Rather annoying whilst I am working!! >.<..I can;t even do a full virus scan without it turing off (not that I think its a virus as I have very good virus protection on my computer, just trying to 'tick' all the 'check' boxes heh)

I am currently using the University Computers to reply, fave and comment on things haha, as whilst I don't know the proper reason for this problem I dont want to use my own too much :( incase it will cause more problems later on....
All my 'personal' stuff is not on these ones (uni pcs) so accessing requests and commissions is a nono at this point in time, so I am very sorry!!  
Im very much hoping it just a over-heating problem or a power plug problem as they seem most plausable, which I can easily fix by giving it a good clear out or fixing the plug hehe....So wish my computer luck! hehe :D~
